Zane's Linoone is special as it is the only Pokémon that he has caught that was already evolved to its last stage. Linoone became the fourth Pokémon caught by Zane in the Pokémon Catching Competition.

Zigzagoon attacking
Before Zigzagoon became its evolved form Linoone, it was very curious about everything it saw, making it a potential target for several types of predators. During its early life in its pack, only a select few were put in charge of looking after the youngling Zigzagoon pups. However, a dangerous attack by a powerful Trainer with their Pokémon left the guards hopeless. Then, this Zigzagoon charged straight for the Trainer and managed to bite them in the arm. It was knocked away, then managed to evolve, giving it the extra power needed to chase the Trainer off. Zigzagoon was looked upon by the rest of the pack as a hero, and cherished for saving them all.
